Tiny house
My first Architectural Design Project

~School Project ~
This was a school project where we had to design a
"Tiny House" using Blender.
I wanted to create a dreamy, whimsical place, surrounded by nature and enveloped in warm sunlight.
Work-in-Progress Renders:

>>Fixing Things
I noticed some things that needed fixing, like for example the roof. Because this scene was quite big and it took a very long time to render, I didn't want to render it all again just for a minor detail.
That's why I decided to only render the roof, now with some ivy, and just edit it in using Photoshop.
Process<<
For this project, I first drew out a floor plan. I didn't end up getting to the furniture part, so planning that out was a little unnecessary in the end, but the overall floor plan relatively stayed the same. Following this, I built a foundation, raised walls as needed and carved out holes for the windows.
I gave the house a small porch with a flower bed leading to the back patio.
Creating the roof tiles took a little trial and error, but I think it was worth it. Along with the gutter under the roof, the house seems much more life-like. I decorated the garden with many trees and plants, scattered flowers and made the scene feel lived-in by adding things like the swing or a little bird house with a few birds sitting around it.
Using volumetrics, I added a little fog to the scene to make everything feel even dreamier.

I finished the render by painting in little pollen particles floating through the air and adding some noise, so it almost feels like a nostalgic memory.
